| ||Cook Like a Chef|
Do you want to learn some old and new cooking techniques and some new or old ideas? Chef Michael is excited to teach 3 classes, drink his pick of wine, and enjoy some nibbles with you. Classes will be Thursday evenings from 7-8:30. Pick and choose your class or sign up for all 3 at a discounted price. Classes are Basic Knife Skills (April 27) in which Chef will cover prep techniques and using the right knife for the job. You will learn how to properly sharpen and maintain a sharp knife as well as why it is the first step to better cooking. Chef will also sharpen your knife from home. The second class will be Cooking with Seasonal Vegetables (May 11). Ever wonder what to do with vegetables that you see in the grocery store that look interesting, but you are unsure how to prep or cook? Chef will cover some fun and interesting items to help understand how to think, cook, and shop for the season you are in. The third class will be Fresh and Quick pasta from scratch (May 25). Chef Michael will demo how we make and cook different pastas here at the restaurant. He will cover pasta from scratch to finished dish in less than 30 minutes as well as gnocchi from scratch. Each class costs $65 or sign up for all 3 for $175. The class will feature wine and light appetizers as well as the delicious food we make in class.
